About Kay
Kay Milligan's love for creative, outdoor nature play first inspired her to try Tinkergarten with her young son. From the very first class, she knew the program was a perfect fit for her family! in 2019, she left her full-time job to become a Tinkergarten Teacher.
Prior to teaching Tinkergarten, Kay was a therapeutic horseback riding instructor and a Director of Volunteers in the non-profit sector. Her experience includes working with children with a wide variety of physical, cognitive, and nuerodivergent challenges.
A native New Englander, Kay loves the change of seasons and being outdoors in all weather. At home with her husband and her son, Kay creates hand-crafted greeting cards, homeschools, is an avid reader, and enjoys baking and cooking.
